Dream Big, Aim High

E Safety

E-Safety is an important part of keeping children safe at Haddon. We have security measures in place in school, which are monitored both internally and externally, to help safeguard pupils from potential dangers or unsuitable material. Any e-Safety incidents are recorded and managed in accordance with e-safety policy. E-Safety is taught to all pupils explaining and demonstrating how to stay safe and behave appropriately online.

We can only be successful in keeping children safe online if we work with parents to ensure the e-Safety message is consistent. It is important that parents speak to their children about how they can keep safe and behave appropriately online.

Being SMART

At Haddon we are SMART online.

Safe - We know we have to keep our information safe when online.

Meet - We know not to meet someone online, even a friend of a friend, as it can be dangerous.

Accepting - We know to think carefully before be open something online.

Reliable - We know to compare information from different websites as not everything online can be entirely true.

Tell - We know to talk to adults we trust if we ever feel upset, worried or confused.
